Who We Are
The Grovely State School P&C is a welcoming group of parents, carers, staff and community members working together to support our school and strengthen community connection.
We help create opportunities for students and families through events, services, fundraising, volunteering and community partnerships.
If you are new to the school and looking for an opportunity to get to know your local community, the P&C is a wonderful way to do this. We always welcome new ideas and new ways of doing things that enhance the culture of our school community.
What We Do
P&C Services
We proudly operate an on-site Tuckshop 5 days per week and Uniform Shop which is open Mondays 8.30-9.30am. Ordering is via Qkr! App.
Events & Community Connection
From discos and fun days to informal catchups, and the café, we help create opportunities for families to connect and feel part of the school community.
Parent Voice & Communication
We create opportunities for discussion, ideas and input, and provide feedback to the school as a collective parent voice.
Fundraising & Partnerships
Fundraising and community support helps the P&C cover annual operating costs (approx. $25k) and donate back to the school through projects, resources and initiatives that benefit students and families. We also seek multiple grant opportunities to fund special projects.
We welcome:

- Prize and raffle contributions

Get Involved
There are lots of ways to be involved in P&C activities without being a member — and every contribution matters.
You might:
- Volunteer in the tuckshop once a term
- Join an event working group
- Support P&C services such as tuckshop and uniforms
- Attend a meeting
- Donate to a bake sale or drinks drive
- Support a fundraising activity
- Share ideas and feedback
P&C Membership
Becoming a P&C member offers an even deeper connection to the school community. Members have voting rights at meetings, can contribute to discussions and decisions, stay informed about P&C activities and planning, and help shape the future direction of the P&C and school community.
It's also a great way to build relationships, stay connected and gain a better understanding of what's happening within the school community.
To become a member of the P&C, simply complete the membership form online: https://forms.gle/dR2sDyQNC42Juj8S7 You can also collect a paper form from the tuckshop.
Membership expires annually at the AGM.
